Our Story

Hi I'm Cris-Ann Samuels, a young graphic design enthusaiat, mother of 1 living in Montego Bay, Jamaica. What began as a journey of faith through Kingdom Verse has now become something far deeper. It's now a mission born out of one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

When Hurricane Melissa passed through, it left behind more than damage; it left our home in a state of uncertainty. The roof was severely impacted, parts of the ceiling collapsed, and essential areas like our kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were no longer safe.

Since that day, every rainfall brings new concern. Water seeps through the ceiling, and the space that once gave us comfort now requires constant care just to remain livable.

This home shelters five of us: my young son, my mother, my younger brother, and my aunt who requires special care. As the primary caregiver, every decision I make is centered around protecting them, even when the weight feels heavy.

In the middle of this storm, I held onto my faith. And from that place, Kingdom Verse was born. Not just as a brand, but as a reminder that even in broken moments, God is still present.

What started as a creative expression of faith has now become part of our rebuilding journey. Every design carries a message of hope, resilience, and trust in God. The same truths that are carrying us through this season.

We are now working step by step to restore what was lost, beginning with repairing the roof, rebuilding damaged areas, and creating a safe space for my family again.

Every act of support, whether through a donation, a purchase, or simply sharing our story is helping us rebuild not just our home, but our sense of stability, peace, and hope for the future.

The Journey: Damage to Restoration

Faith in the Storm

God has carried us through every moment. Kingdom Verse exists to remind others that even in their darkest storms, there is still light, hope, and purpose.

Every product you purchase helps rebuild our home and supports our family. This mission is bigger than clothing — it is about restoration.

Our GoFundMe was created on our behalf, as the platform does not support Jamaican-based accounts.

With faith and gratitude,
Cris-Ann Samuels
